some of the replies:
165mph in a focus ST170
150mph is the fastest I have ever driven, in the BMW 120D
honda civic type R @ 160mph
143mph in my old nissan primera 1.6 si

Knew we should have chopped the astra in sooner.
In fact, D4 overtook one on the hanger straight at silverstone. Does this mean my old 2.0 16v corsa in fact done 175mph? Mega....

what ever the speedo goes upto on a mr2 turbo, limiter couldnt go any further,
140 golf mk4 r32.

165 on Nelli - About 150. Speedo is lame.
149 on Bandito - Again, about 135
Corsa saw 100rpm short of the limiter on the F20. About 135. Or 114 on the 1.4.
Astra saw 160, but morelike 145.
Top speed is boring. Its more about how quickly you can get into, and get out of a bend.

165mph on the clocks in the old Gti-R.
And this in the old Cav Gsi T......
The above were both done on track and and are speedo speeds.I dont know what the real speed would have been.
