well VX220 has been off road for few months now cos enjoying driving the clio and insurance seems high for vx, also weather has not been good for long enough to make me want it back on road!

last time i painted the car it was in january when we had the -10ish weather!

so painting in that cold was not great! so it was an ok job but never great!

this is how car was............after last paint job!

had spare day yesterday so did this to it!

then finally when rubbing car down with the da, the sanding pad decided to split in 2 leaving me waiting for another one to come before i can keep going really! :-(

u guys will have to wait and c! pwople may say its a little boring but i hope it will look nice, maybe gonna go bit risky on wheels also.......... can always change back if it does not work on wheels

wanted to go lime/kawazki on it cos its lovely colour to paint and easy but would not suit interior thats blue and black so new colour has to match that!

will c, progress will be slow till next week now cos waiting for new da pad to some, dont wanna rush it this time wanna get it right gonna try give all suspension and engine degreese and clean!

tempted to sell the car really cos of not using it much, van is used for track work, enjoy the clio on the road! 3 cars is to much really

iv forgotton what kind of yellow this is but its rare on the vx220's. i remember it on a program i was watching a year or two ago when they buy cars wrote off for people on a budget and repair them back to former glory to save them a profit. was this colour, looked amazing

please dont go white, how ever much i liked white cars a while back, everyone is doing it with a black roof, and its boring now! almost looks tacky, however dont go too lairy either,

satin paintwork is photogenic but to the naked eye its a pretty bland paint to look at
