I'm finishing at 12 today and going to pub with work mates. Any suggestions for good easy enough to play drinking games? Or cool drink combos, e.g. hand grenade (glass of redbull, 1 shot sambuca, 1 shot jagermeister. balance the 2 shot on the top of the bull leaning against each other. Pull the sambuca away, like the pin on a grenade and drink the shot and neck the bomb) Anybody else any ideas?

The intenion is to stay out till about 8ish. So should be ok. Anybody played the power hour? Shot of beer every minute for an hour?

Depends how many people in your group and if you dont mind looking stupid.
Could try a game of Soldier..
Everyone gets a little green plastic army man toy. Whatever pose your little man is doing when someone shouts "SOLDIER" everyone has to get into that position (Yes even the laying down ones) last one to position has to neck their pint

Shot of beer is dirt. You can add rules such as no drinking with your left hand and must have you little finger pointing out when drinking. That will catch a few out. As punishment you have a shot

Ring of fire is good as you can make it as lethal or as tame as you want really - works better with larger groups though imo.

We did this at a mates 18th, have to drink with your left hand, little finger points when you drink, glass/bottle has to be at least a thumbs length away from the edge of the table etc... Basically failing at any of it involved downing 3 fingers of your drink and if you'd finished your drink and did something wrong you had to down a mix of everyones drinks... It definitely worked though!

Centurion is good, although like Cosmo said, it's only 4 pints in 1hr 40 or something, but it's the constant drinking that gets to you, 1 per minute for 100 minutes. (somehow I didn't read past that comments, so missed Lee explaining, and consequently being called a pansy)
Chandeliers is good.
Sit around a table, Pint glass in the centre, 4oz or half glasses in a ring around you, you flick a coin from the edge of the table, whoevers drink it lands in they have to neck their half. If it lands in you have to contribute to the centre pint, and neck your own. If someone hits the centre pint they have to neck it.
Or something similar to that.

Do the power hour but instead of using beer,do it with rusty nails.
