In before "If you aint rubbin' you aint dubbin'"
But in all seriousness, it all depends on the offset of the wheel, and the tyres you go for. For example i have some 7j wheels going on mine and they fit perfect. My brother has BBS RM's and they fit with little to no rubbing with 185/45 profile tyres. Just do some research and try work out all the clearances, that's what i did.

i don't know what hellaflush is, all i do know is you'll need to do some arch work and run a thinner tyre

the actual metal you need to grind away to the spot welds behind the plastic.
You don't need to run silly skinny tyres to be hellaflush it's an American thing really.

depending on the offset, how low and what tyres you run, you might not need to do much work at all
i ran et13 on my corsa and there wasn't any metal under the arch plastic

ET13 15x8j with a 185/45 tyre on them
if you can get away with running a 185 on a 7j then do it, your best bet is to buy the wheels, bolt them on and see what tyres you'll need
et25 or above will work ok
