He does use a safety rope now and again, for example when he gets right to the top. But at about 5.00, he puts the clip over a bolt, but it's not exactly secure - the bolt is only attached at one end

Mental I kept thinking he had reached the top then it said just another 60 feet to go!
Still i suppose if you fall you will probably die of old age before you hit the ground.

One of my mates used to climb and inspect masts for a living. Got paid really well for it too (around £50k a year iirc).
Still, no matter what the wages were I don't think i'd manage that.

fook that, my hands have gone all sweaty just watching, the size of the pegs to hold on are tiny, and with your bag just dangling below
one of my mates little brothers has just put himself though some type of heights/rope work course so he can do work at height

Weird that he only clips in when he rests, and to make it worse he has a tool bag on a rope he pulls up every now!!
Must be shattered when he gets to the top, knowing my luck I'd forget something and have to go back for it

I honestly would do that job if I had a parachute for getting down/incase of emergencies. But HELL FUCKING NO if otherwise!

Reminded me of reading this thread on Scoobynet a few years ago http://bbs.scoobynet.com/non-scooby-related-4/503360-this-is-my-job.html
I know if you become a qualified rope access technician you can earn decent money doing things like cleaning windows, putting up signs, etc.
