seems a ridiculous feature imo
FB is already too much of an invasion of privacy but this takes it to a whole new realm.

you can check in places, then others can check in too

say you were all arranging to met somehere you could check the location to see whos there. or i suppose thats the idea

On your GPS enabled (I assume) mobile visit touch.facebook.com (Or use the iphone app) then you can update where you are posting from and tag people who are with you.

You can stop people tagging you at their location in privacy settings. If you don't want to use it don't, the people sitting their complaining make me laugh. Its fun if its something you want, if its not then it doesn't affect you.
