Aren't they ex fleet cars and rentals? Got loads of 3-door Astra diesels at good prices.

Their finance is crap, so buy in cash. They seem to have a bit of a rep for selling broken cars and taking advantage of stupid people too, if you believe Watchdog.

You'll probably be ok though seeing as you know how a car works

I remember that post about the lad that bought a Clio for 4k and ended up paying about 15k for it on their finance

They have some nice Astras at nice prices and they have a few in one location so can look at them all at once, I just don't want to buy one that has been driven by 100 people for 20,000 miles and the clutch goes a week later.

Probably best to buy from Vauxhall and get NetworkQ

If you aren't using the finance and you know what you're looking for when there's no reason you can't pick up a decent one.

I'd suggest network Q tbh. You can usually haggle a bit too.

Good mileage and price, but tbh i'd try and get a Design model instead. They are nicely loaded. Auto wipers, lights, piano black dash etc.

Yes, I honestly have. Renault are shit, looked at 1.4 HDI 207's and 307's but not a fan, Fords are a rip off, Suzuki don't make a decent diesel Swift in 3-door.

I LOVE my 1.5dci Megane.. Big as an Astra.. Insurance is pittance! And tax is £30/year.. And It does 700+ miles to a tank.

Surely the answer is to make sure you see the log book before you commit - any car held by a lease company is off the list.

Watch out buying a car from evans halshaw! I very nearly got stung with regards to warranty work as their salesmen tell you one thing but the documents say another! They kept trying to worm their way out of sorting my car out under warranty.

I personally would never buy from them again, even their customer service people were not bothered at all and wanted to fob me off.

You can still end up getting ex-rental cars through Vauxhall Network Q approved dealerships. Netwrok Q is basically the name of the overall used car package that is actually very good.

All poor category p\x's or fleet which dealers dont want.

Quite often lots of uncatagorised crashed damaged cars get mixed in. You will find a lot of their cars have dubious or hardly any history as they are often aquired through auctions.
