Mileage is a bit high, but he has service history so I'm not that fussed. Said I can take it for a test drive too, so was pleased about that. Few years older than mine but not really fussed as I've always had a passion for the car.

And the car is a........BMW E36 318 iS.

So few people on here had/have bmw's no doubt someone has had one or similar of these, what to look out for?

I paid 1k for a e36 328i with 120k on the clock, all mtec stuff in very good condition.

I'd say way way over priced for the mileage.

daymoon: intake pipe has been replaced.

I'm not paying a penny for it. Straight swap with my W reg polo which is on 107k.

mwg: why's that?

you wanted Ł1500 for your newer car which has done less miles.

and you're willing to swap for a car with almost twice the milage and older, which he wants less than 1k for?

i like his reason for selling the mx5

"Gutted i'm selling this, I got it for my missus but we have decided she needs something slightly bigger, so it's for sale."

and he is selling the BMW for

" my missus has decided she wants to learn to drive (again!) so this needs to go for a smaller car,"

maybe me but i've only ever bought 100% original cars from reputable owners, i don't trust the internet

Have they? It says in the original post he'd do it for an extra Ł150, but hasn't updated anywhere stating that he's done them.
