does look amazing out there, ak went to the first one iirc.

Not the greatest of races so far is it...at the moment looks like it's gonna be top 4 as they started barring any pit stop mess or massive mistakes

very tight one though! He's gotta start finishing races, would of only lost 3 pts from this, now gonna concede 15 if it stays the same. 20pts behind

Ben I find Monaco boring in itself, I mean yes it's set in nice surrounding's etc but there's no overtaking or anything, and without refuelling it's even more likely that the race is determined in qualifying

yeah monaco is a bit boring, but it has it's moments and i like the tunnel bit and the corner after it.

with this, it just seems like the only places you can pass someone are on the curved straight bits. if you try to pass in a corner, you will just get shunted off the road.

Why not? I don't know a lot about F1 rules and such but surely if you leave a space someone's allowed to take it? So Hamilton would need to yield?

in theory yes, but theres a racing line and webber tried to undercut hamilton.

if you cause an un-avoidable accident then you usually get penalised.

No further action for Webber...

Hamilton's & Button's championship challenge's are pretty much over at this point

I just saw the replay, there was nothing in it imo. Hamilton was day dreaming and entered the corner far too wide, he should have backed off not Webber.

hamilton did seem a bit wide but even so, he was still infront.

you can't just drive into the person in front's car

these cars cost millions. you can't just go to the local breakers yard and buy new bits for 20 quid

Webber did nothing wrong, Hamilton just keeps making stupid mistakes, like Monza!

Great for championship, hoped Button would finish ahead of Webber to make it even tighter!

Hamilton should be fined for not putting steering wheel back on the big pussy!

I think he is understandably frustrated, also Ruben's did worse not long back when he threw his steering wheel into the middle of the track, {Might have been at Valencia?}

Not even being funny but isn't the point in these races that you try to get past the person in front, which is what Webber was doing...? And tbh it looked to me that Webber held a line and Hamilton drove into the side of him instead of taking the wide line he should have after leaving the door open.

yes it is the idea to try and overtake, but not by driving into them.

hamilton was ahead and followed the racing line when going around the corner.

why would he need to go wide around the corner when he was in front?

hamilton was in front, then had to brake for the corner. webber broke later and obviously got too close and drove into hamilton.
