Now, I don't know if I think too much into this but...
Why do some people only shake your hand when they first meet/greet u or just as they're leaving. But never both?
Quite a few of my mates will shake my hand as they're leaving and NEVER when we first meet, and some others will shake as we meet/say hello and not shake my hand as they as they leave. What is with that?
Pegs the question, which do u?!

Depends who it is I find
If It's someone I've never met it will be sooner rather than later.
I usually shake hands with the bosses before they leave no idea why

I don't get that. Surely a handshake is a form of greeting someone

It could also mean a closure on something? as people tend to shake hands when buying a car ect.

Scotty, it's time to try a new form of greeting.
You could go European/Middle Eastern and kiss them on both cheeks (boy or girl)
They might be more inclined to greet you then?

I do it when greeting and saying goodbye to someone I haven't seen for a while (male). If it's a female I just hug them and grope them.

I don't shake hands with any of my mates, even ones I haven't seen for a while. Only do it at work sometimes when meeting new people (generally bosses) or as mentioned Asian people I know always do it.

I shake someones hand the first time I meet them, or in work/study related situations that require that level or respect, i.e your superiors in formal settings.

Why do you shake your friends hand? Usually a hello does me if its a mate. Business related then a shake when meeting and leaving.
Waiting for the black guy to enter who does the shake hand hug thing.

It's rather embarrassing when a black guy tries to do that complicated shake-clasp fist-bump thing with you and you get it wrong..
