Hi Ian
I've briefly mentioned this in other threads but i feel a bit frustrated no one has picked up on it yet.
I would like to introduce Tapatalk
http://www.tapatalk.com/
i started using this as i just got an Andriod phone and its brillant, it would be so much easier than browsing CS normally through a phone.
"Tapatalk is a forum app on the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry (free) and Nokia (free). Tapatalk Forum App provides super fast on-the-go forum access to any vBulletin, IPBoard, phpBB or SMF forum that has activated our Tapatalk plugin. Try it now to see why so many forums adopted it to compliement or replace their existing HTML-based mobile forum skin"
The admin on corrado forum have set it up there and everyone loves it, has gone done really well. I think its free for you to setup too.
I would recommend people try it on their phone and look for other forums they may use
Feedback/comments welcome

Not needed as much anymore, up-to-date phones can display the forum in an easily readable format anyway.

On my iPhone CS looks and works exactly the same as it does on my PC. Not sure what the problem with that is

CS Displays and works the same on my Blackberry as it does on my laptop.
It's the only one that isn't too different and works well too TBH

well i only heard of andriod about a week ago and didn't know anything about anything, but after playing with the phone and reading the internet i now feel i can make a judgement about a product/app that gives value to my phone and internet forums and thought i may suggest it here to see if any other users have experienced it or know more than i do about it. I'm always open to suggestion and any negatives points people may have.
but alas, its seem quite unheard of, which is strange given the vast amount of experience everyone has (youself included)

I made a thread about this a while back in which Ian commented. The general consencious was that it wasn't needed as the site works fine anyway.

i find i keep having to zoom in and out to click page numbers etc, lots more scrolling around the screen involved.
a corrado works as a car but people still prefer the modern stuff, same with this really

It is a bit more effort, but to change the forum software to something completely different is a lot of hassle for little gain.

am asking the experts about that comment, i was under the impression its not a massive conversion, like i say you can still access forums in that way through your phones browser.
this is an app that you click on from your phones home page, not through the brower

I know what it is, I personally too use Tapatalk. But to convert the current mysql database to work with different forum software would be a nightmare.

Lots of people know about it. The problem is, you can't just decide one day you want Tapatalk and install it on whatever software you're running. The software that Corsasport runs off of isn't compatible and seeing as how there has been significant development to this software it would be a tough decision to make to change over, let alone the sheer amount of work it would take to migrate.
