Big machine. You just lay in it for half an hour or so. I've had a couple to find out wtf is going on with my ear. Make sure they are not going to feed dye through you before hand. Last one i had it dazed me and i'd driven there Had to get someone to pick me up and someone to get my car. May have just been the shock though as i really have a fear for nedles.
After seeing the doctor last night, i've got to go and have another one..

They inject you with dye I believe? Is that what I had done? CT Scan? Is that the same? Anyway, I had a CT scan got injected with this dye and it felt like I had pissed myself.

Cool, doesn't sound too bad then! I also dislike needles and been told there is a chance that the will be injecting straight into my knee
I was hoping to walk home tbh

You will probably have to have the dye injected, thats how they see where the issues are.
Rachel had to have it yesterday to highlight an issue with her synuses.
Just make sure you have a piss before you go in otherwise you will feel ridiculous.

Painless. But you may feel a little claustrophobic

Don't take any metal in with you, I had to get an X-ray of my eyes because I work in engineering. I had horrible visions of going into the machine and my eyes being ripped out because iron filings were sitting in behind them.

As long as it's painless I don't mind!
Hopefully the nurses will be nice to look at too
Ooft that would be nasty alan! But it makes you wonder what would happen if you had pins or a metal plate in vou

Medical history would show that beforehand.

Someone I work with had an MRI scan on her hip last week as its fucked. Said she had dye injected in to the joint and she ended up passing out from the pain of the fluid in the joint

My mate has had the same thing done on his hip and all he was concerned about was being stark naked in front of the nurses I would run out before having a 6 inch needle being stuck into my knee

I've had 3 scans so far, two without dye and the last one was with. Fucked me up for hours after As i say though, don't know if that was me being a pussy or the dye itself. Won't be taking a chance on the next one

I had an MRI on my knee and my full body was in the machine not just my knee.
Its just a big cylinder that you lie in, don't feel nothing at all its just abit noisy, they gave me ear phones and put the radio on though
