A pic of a section of my office:

Taken from my desk, they're all the same.

And the coffee machine and milk frother I got as part of my contract:

Worth around £260 and they're giving one to every new employee, going to be 100 of us eventually. Also the caps at the bottom are coffee, they're giving us 200 caps a month. Caps are worth 27p each.

Today was my first full day on the job proper, our customers are crazy. All go mad for the product and spend £50-£200 a time on coffee. I must have taken £1k of orders today.

Well coffee isn't discountable, but as I get 200 capsules a month (1 capsule per cup) I doubt I'd need to.

No idea on machine discount. I'd imagine they wouldn't allow much if any as not to have people making money on the side!

So...went for a mooch at the TC Selfridges Nespresso boutique. Chatted to a nice young lady who let me see a machine in operation and try the coffee's etc.

They are bloody brilliant. I regard myself as a bit of a coffee connoisseur, but have to say the standard of coffee these machine make is top notch. And with capsules theres no pissing about cleaning up etc afterwards. And the Aeroccino milk warmer/frother is awesome too!

I'm getting this one for Christmas.

Ben, our machines are essentially the same, only my Aeroccino is seperate.

Can't get coffee discount for obvious reasons. I do get 200 capsules free a month though.

This is why I love the Nespresso ones. No mess, no fuss and the coffee is top notch! As good as a traditional machine imo.

The one i'm getting is £199 for both. Its a Krups machine. It seems to be mainly Krups and Magimix that do the Nespresso machines.
