Since we're talking engines today, I'd like to know who has a 1.6 engine in their Corsa (sorry Saxo, 106, etc drivers - start your own threads).

C16XE and X16XE engines - who has them and what do you think of them!

ive got x16xe in my gsi its ok but has a few problems1st being oil consumption

It works fine - is reliable and seems "nippy" enough, yet when faced with challenges from other cars it seems to have problems.

Perhaps I am being too hard on it - the victories have outweighed the failures, but Fiesta Zetec S? 106? Rover 200?

Zetec-S I would have great concerns about

That car is as slow as pig sh1t. My SXi was a match for them.

The bhp figures and sprint times seem closely matched to factory specs + mods, but maybe I'm just encountering faster cars on my travels.
