Paint

If you use some decent wax on them, it makes them a hell of a lot easier to keep them clean though. So the salt and grime can almost be rinsed off.

I am led to believe that poorboys wheel sealent is quite good?

Powdercoated stuff is a lot better protection against salt than just paint

What about parking the car up and buying a whole new car so the first set of wheels don't come near salt.

Then powdercoat and seal the set on the second car.

i used cillit bang on my old corsa gsi wheels a few times and they never corroded or went wrong, never seen something take the dirt off with such ease

Cillit Bang is basically the same stuff as Muc Off and other alkaline de-greasers. It's watered down quite a bit, in comparison though.

I've used Jetseal on my last 3 cars with great results.


Do you want a fight?

I polish them, then apply 3 layers of Jetseal to my Revolutions and it made feck all difference. I put on Poorboys on the Pro Race 1.2 and they still come up brand new.
