quick question on a C20XE corsa, what kind of mpg would i be looking at? i drive around 50-60miles a day, is it an everyday car? what things should i look out for if i decide to go and have a look at one? thanks in advance

Mpg not great! Look up stats on the engine or a cav gsi on google

If i drive mine sensible i get just a tad over 300 miles to £40

I think their pretty good on fuel tbh. It's a big engine in a small car, takes no effort to get it moving. Depends how your driving it though. Have had over 300 miles to a tank but have also had less than 200

Generally get about 50 miles to a tenner with a mixture of driving. They're more economical than a 1.6 if you drive them softly I've been told.

Depends how you drive them, I used to have one, and drove 60ish miles a day to work and back. On a late day, it would cost £10, on a chilled out day, £5. Really does depend how heavy your right foot is.

I used to do around 300/350 miles to a tank on average. Done a whole tank in less than 150 before too...

Well on my dash it had about 2 bars which is about a fiver. So put 35 in then on way home 10 in. And yes I know my gauge is correct
