Can you not order it online? We've started doing a click and collect system where you order something through JL and if you have a Waitrose closeby they deliver it there so you can pick it up whenever, saves waiting in for a parcel.

Not sure if its related to John Lewis, but the girl in Barbour at Terminal 1 Heathrow Airport told me that there stock was low due to a lorry being hijacked a couple of weeks ago and all the stock being nicked.

Evening standards website from November 15th -
