Buy some Depo headlights, warm them up, split the lens from the body of the light, paint the chrome part of the inside black. Re-seal the light.

Lucas headlights will split just as easy as depos.Valeo's are a cunt to split.

i used 320 primered, quick flick off and 2 coats of black and put them in the airing cuboard to dry between coats

All i did with mine is scotched the chrome, aerosol primer, let it dry, aerosol matt black. let it dry.

There is a name on the lense. Have a look. The ones that come apart easy you will see metal clips where the lense joins the back part.

Whats a "normal" light, They are stamped with who made them, i.e Depo, Valeo, Lucas etc.

near impossible to split the standard headlights (valeos) hence why its easier to make one pair out of 2, smash glass off one set, cut plastic backing off the other, clean up, paint and stick back together.....
