What is the infection period for swine flu?

Say for example you 'were in contact' with someone that has now got it.

Contact was Saturday/Sunday and as of Sunday night they felt ill. Now today they pretty much definitely have it.

Am I going to die?

Please tell me they are only infectious once they have the symptoms?

man up, it's just like a normal cold in young fit and healthy men with no underlying problems like cancer etc

I thought I had it then someone said 'if there's £50 note on the floor, could you reach down & pick it up' if you can then you've not got swine flu!!

Im totally fucked just now though, passed out yestarday on the train & almost stuck my nut through the doors

The infectious period for a confirmed case is defined as 1 day prior to the onset of symptoms to 7 days after onset.

Swine flu made a reappearance?! My swine flu vaccine left me with a dead arm for a week. I imagine the swine flu to be less annoying. Stop panicking!!

It was awfull for Mrs Jambo so wo so sick. Much more severe than regular flu/man flu. I think I'd rather the dead ar. For a week!

no such thing as swine flu, just something made up by the corrupt US politians who funnily enough also owned most the medical companies who supplied the vaccines.

Yes there was a different strain, but it is no worse than normal flu.
