i know people always think these threads are pointless but i like the fact some people come up with oddballs you wouldnot really think about......... criteria is as follows,

10k budget
200bhp or more currently own mk4 astra gsi and i ent going backwards in power lol
practical
fuel/insurance etc is not an issue, my astra has done 18k in 4 years as i walk to work lol
comfortable and medium to large sized i.e astra to impreza kind of size..

must admit i like that signum would never have thought of that lol.........

e46 m3 is top of my list but im very concerned about overall running costs unless anyone can shed some light on what they are like day to day and month to month

as for playing with my gsi i only see that as throwing my money down the drain tbh

why not something like vxr, focus st, megane sport if you worried about the running costs of an m3

barnshaw i love impreza's really do but that was 10 years ago before all the chavs got hold of them lol, if u gave me one i would absolutely love it but dunno if i want to buy one lol if i was to buy one it would be a 2005-6 sti model it is on the list lol just not as high as others

vxr is on the list dont want a ford hate fords and french cars it would take somat pretty special for me to buy french, should have mde my criteria better haha

My m3 has cost me around £830 in 19 months. That's just parts at trade price excluding vat. No labour as it free. 320 miles from a £75 tank of bp ultimate. Obviously insurance grp 20 so that's makes it pricey.
Tyres are £220 each give or take.
You can always sell it if it's too much to run.
Best thing is to get one that has just been serviced.
Coupe's are cheap now

tom that ent that bad lol i mean how likely are they to go wrong really? i mean i would like to think an m3 has been looked after when compared to somat like a st or 172 etc which will have been ragged by a young lad or is that just my brain doin overtime thinking m3 ownes are more mature lol
