I've managed to pick up the bug going round, my missus has had it and I guess I caught it while nursing her back to health.
Started out yesterday, feeling a bit sluggish and aching joints, got into bed and was freezing then woke up at 6am with a fever, feels like theres a sponge in my throat and its more effort to breathe than normal, booming headache, stiff neck etc.
Well and truly hampered my New Years Eve

I had all same + violent vomiting for about 30 hours !!! Body temp around 40 degrees :S
Now starving but not sure on what i can eat!

I caught mine on xmas day and still have it now.
It started off like cold/flu but now its just a sore throat and continual coughing.
very annoying at night

i had it for 2days over xmas eve and xmas.
felt like shit.
but the aches are gone. just currently got a headache but think thats more work related so no biggie

I've had it since boxing day.
Drove down to South Wales 29th and back home yesterday, it was hell feeling like this.

Had a chest infection/flu start around 12 December and still have the cough now! It's tainted Xmas slightly. Everyone in the family has had it.

I'm feeling the same.
I had a stinking cold 3 weeks ago, went away but now seems to have regrouped and come back to attempt to kill me.
I haven't slept all week, can't even keep water down, been taking Day/Night Nurse but they haven't worked at all.

Same here, it's like phantom coughing as there's nothing there to cough out very annoying

Got told I had to be in work because I was given xmas off and it wasn't fair to have NY off too. So, like a twat, went in.....they sent me home 3 hours later  idiots.
