I know theres a holiday inn smack bang in the centre. Not sure on prices or w/e though.
Club wise, theres shed loads of smaller bars such as cucamaras, bla bla bar etc. Bigger clubs your looking at rock city, oceana or gate crasher. I usually go out on student nights so not sure about the music on the weekends  .

went there for fcs. Awsome night out! Going back there again this year.
Plenty of clubs and bars, we spent most of the night in a weatherspoons watching the game. Fluff everywhere,put your best clothes on!

ive been for a few nights out in nottingham, if your into your rock music etc, you will have a great time, specially if you end up in rock city, proper amazing venue

You can get into most places with dark shoes and anything but 'branded' tops. I usually just go out in a planish t shirt or long sleeve top with some dark grey pumps.
If your out on Saturday, go to Gatecrasher.

keep round Lace Market or Hockley area, better quality bars. Waterfront aint bad either near Jongleurs.

we will probably be going on the saturday, so going out saturday night, got a gatecrasher here in birmingham but tend not to go there, may try this one though see what its like!

EQ is not a bad night, but it tends to be full of the younger folk! (dont know what you are like as a person)
Shit i think its 'the forum' now, but its EQ to me Nottingham is a good night out never gets boring. You can go in different areas and have totally different night outs such as really expensive piano bars, then your typical cheap chav night, its all up to you! Can do some good walking though from areas to areas!
