my plans may be put off, i got a quote just for a astra 1.6 sxi 08 plate, for myself and gf, £810

this isnt the actual car i was getting it was just in the list and got a qoute for it as it is the lowest insurance group car i was looking at.

bloody hell thats steep.

My gf is 25 4 years no claims, im second driver 28 and been driving for 7 years.

thats pretty expensive then. would have thought it would be about half that.

currently paying £495 on the coersa c 1.2 sxi, thats the cheapest we could find after searching many compare sites and going direct.

bloody rediculous, its slowly come down since we got the car, think it started on £800 4 years ago.

My GF at 17 payed £500 for the 1.2 8v after she passed. Shop around!

Brother was getting robbed on his clio 172 renewal too. Quoted 1100, called admiral this morning and asked about a multi-car policy with my mum and they've quoted 610 Result tbh.
