The Wednesday is a good day, The Royal Hunt Cup is a cracking race with very good odds throughout the field.
Obviously the saturday is a big day with the Golden Jubilee and is normally the most popular. Just drive there tbh

Hello mate I live there, Thursday and Friday are the best IMO, saturday and ladies day is too busy and full of muppets, I booked through ascot racecourse directly and my Mate found a magazine promotion that you could put into the booking to make it cheaper! Won't work this year though but direct is the best bet.
Train in mate, get down early to avoid the rush, food is expensive as always, drink wasnt too bad price wise last year.
And go for silver ring tickets, anything less is for peasants.
