Me and a load of mates went down to one of our locals last night and it was RAMMED, they had a private party in which meant no free tables so we tried another pub which was also rammed! We then decided to try the local frankie and benny's which again was busy and there was an hour and a half wait.

We thought enough was enough and we'd go into town instead.... EVERYWHERE in town was full, Bella Italia, New Orleans, Wagamamas, Pizza Hut, Haha Grill, Ask, Jamies, Nandos, Girraffee, TGI's, all independants etc. etc. all had about 30minutes to an hours wait!

So we went to Maccy D's and ordered one of everything on the menu, it was hillarious! My mate has got a video but its on his bloody iPhone so we couldnt just bluetooth it over to mine but I'll get it up soon!

It doesnt actually cost much and we were all stuffed! Highly recommended

However a lot of restaurants wont take reservations on a Saturday either because they know they don't need to and it minimises any losses due to people cancelling/not turning up.

overcrowded shit hole of a country tbh.

A lad at our work did that at the butty van.

There was that much grease coking off it, The bun turned black and fell apart!

That comment makes you look like a twat imo.

Most people wait in queues, or book in advance, how come you're different?

in my experience, frankie and bennys is always an arse on saturdays.

harvester, tgi fridays and most other places are always busy aswell.

i'd rather go down the chippy and get a proper meal that will actually fill me up.
