had a set off mhw's stolen off my car last night ,
car was parked on the drive between my dads, and my brothers, it was right by the front door,
they some how opened the locked boot to gain access, take the lights and close the boot leaving it still lock when i went out to it this mornin,
yet they didnt touch my sub, or amp, or parcel shelf speakers, or the oil or tools i have in there, or my head unit.

they also took the side repeaters off my brothers astra

what pisses me off evan more is that i went to the police to report it as i think these things dont get reported enough, and they looked at me like i was stupid, took some details an said they will be in touch :S wtf

my roads pretty quiet, you dont really drive down there unless you live there,
i dont think they have any reason to target me, as i dont really have any enemies, i pretty much get on with everyone

any way who ever done this is scum, if you get offered any let me know,
theres a few marks on the front and back that i can easily recognise,

Are you sure they didnt just rip them off?

Locking the boot again and not touching any of your stereo stuff sounds too stupid to be true!

...would be pretty useless if they'd been ripped off anyway surely?

Does sound like a strange story. Police not giving a toss doesn't sound strange tho, that's why these people do it.

im thinking they may have been disturbed by something

ive got my suspicions on who it mite be, cant really prove anything though

Could set up a very discreet camera so when they open the boot you can see them Or you could sleep in your boot and when they come you could jump out and give them some action.

Sounds about right for Merseyside police. When I reported mine they said they would send someone out. 3 months later they havn't appeared!

Might go and do something illegal, See how long it takes them to catch me!

Sounds similar to mine when I rented a garage in Swansea. They broke in and found my car, about £400 worth of tools, jack, axle stands, a bucket seat, harnesses, wheels, bumpers etc.

What did they steal? A can of WD40.
