Casually on my way home from work, some tit in a white astra van in the distance it trying to pull out of a junction onto the main road I was travelling on. Stuck behind a lorry doing about 25mph and having a car up my arse I deemed it not safe to brake to let the guy out, even though his front end was half in the road.
As a pass he waves the wanker sign at me. 100m down the road I pull into petrol station to fill up, he pulls in behind at a stupid speed, walks up to my car, opens door and start basically being a prick. I explained I didnt HAVE to let him go, to which he launches a punch to the jaw. Coincidentally it was the wankest punch ever even if it did cut my lip. I didn't retaliate as i knew it was all on camera to which the petrol station staff confirmed it was.
I have his numberplate. Given the option to stand up one on one without cameras i'd have levelled him so,
Option 1: Report to Police...
Option 2: I think you already know...

Report to Police. Presuming you got the details of the guys behind the counter you've got 2 witnesses and CCTV. Don't let him get away with it, no need for behaviour like that

Police. Say your emotionally tormented and feel scared to go out in your car etc and go for a big compo claim. Then when it's all done and sorted petrol bomb his car

police mate all the way. get yourself down the station and say you would like to reprt an assault. give all the details you have of him and the situation ect. inform it was on petrol station camera. they will then do all the leg work, get him to court if you press charges and after a few months you will get a nice bit of compensation for a "wanky punch". good luck with it mate (Y)
