I went to my mums today where my v6 corsa lives to do a bit of work on it, at the weekend me and my mate fitted the F28 on it and put it on its wheels for the 1st time in about 9months !!




We are gonna start on the inside at the weekend, painting and fitting the cage.

Ill post some pics up of the progress of this weekend on sunday night.

Here are the vectra rocker covers i said i was gonna get painted, dad did a good job on them.




a few pics of the bay now it back together and the challenge of the inside we have as its been left for ages and started to get rusty

i work alot an have other stuff to do so very rarely have time to do anything with it, hoping to be all done by summer, ill admit i need to crack on with it and stop taking on other projects like the astra coupe

Where did you get that roll cage made out of newspaper??

Is J200RSA a plate you've had on one of your old corsas? I recognise it somewhere swear i see a caribic blue corsa on vvoc with it on lol

made the news paper cage myself, the cage is a sparco one, heres a pics of it thats only 1/2 of it

it was on my old redtop corsa, its on retention now.

about 4 years ago i was dropping my brother back off home when the car slide on some black ice and the back end swung out as i braked and it was either hit a brand new volvo or put it into a wall so i didn't fancy writing my car and the volvo off so chose the wall it was sadly missed for a month untill i bought a silver 1.6 sport which turned into the v6

I know you was mate, yea x30xe with c25xe inlet

Mark the mount that holds the f28 has two mounting holes it needs to go on the next one to lift it level we noticed that when we put it back on it's wheels. A standard xe is no competition for this v6 as it's not a standard one, you would need a pretty good spec xe to keep up or beat it, it's about 240-250 bhp, next step for it is throttle bodies then nitrous. It's more than capable to out run redtops

3.0's are 210 Ish standard, mine has high torque cams, super chip and a work of art custom 6 branch manifold there is a crap pic of the many in my garage, yea am sure I can sort you a vid out when I get chance too.
Mark I won't be happy until it's 300bhp off gas but it may be difficult to reach that as there are not many places that do anything performance wise for the v6

Redtop would kill it off the mark as it would just spin and round corners, but the sound of the v6 is 100% better
