What do people use to dry the interior carpets etc?
Replaced the leaking heater matrix and my drivers side carpet is sodden and smells pretty rank.
any ideas?

How wet is it? leave some paper in there with something heavy on top so it soaks it all up.

Just sit with the windows/ doors open whenever it's dry, might take a while but it will work.

This becomes a pain in the arse when you pick the paper back up and get covered in the ink that rubs off
hopefully not just me

I can guarantee you the sound deadening underneath will be sodden too.
Best bet will be to get it all removed. Bin the sound deadening, replace with new stuff and dry the carpet and refit.
I know this as I flooded the cab in my van twice soon after setting up by leaving the water tank to fill up for too long

Forgot about that, I spilt some coke in the passenger foot well of the ibiza, and the sound deadening was still wet months later

My jeep was a tad wet but not sodden, drying was a nightmare as it was cd out and damp. A hairdryer and some kitchen towels, with running the car hot with zircon on full blast plus leaving loads of silica gel packets everywhere
Oh and to atop the smell novac1001 £2.49 from dyas
