My Corsa has been stood since last June, and i've just found out I wont get my licence back till October now

So what would u do? bearing in mind i'm 26 in November and I already get enough stick for owning a Corsa at 25!

I REALLY want to keep it, because it's such a clean example... and I do love it.

If you'd sell up, how much do u think it's worth?

1.6 16v Sport, usual extras
1998 S Reg
63k
12 months mot
Spax RSX coilovers with custom rear 110mm springs (covered 5 pissing miles)
Camber bolts
Gunmetal grey softstars (un-marked) with mint tyres
MHW's
Smoked FK headlights
Tigra scuttle
Badgeless grillie
Kenwood CD player

Pics -

And how it's stood since June of last year -

If you want to keep it whats the problem?

I get stick for owning an Octavia at 21 but i wouldnt sell it JUST because of what people might say.

Scott you would be mad to sell up just because of what others think. I miss my old sport which I sold when I was 23 because I listened to my mates advice. I Still wish I had it now. If I cant find a nice enough astra I'm getting another sport. fuck what people think!

It's not a waste, If anything It's doing the sport good. you're keeping the mileage down on a very clean looking 10 year old car. Just finish your plans on it mate then if you've drove it round and got bored that's the time to sell up

look at it this way, if you sold the car what would you get in october time to replace it? have you had the benfit of using it? also would the insurance be expensive for you once you get your licence back?

My insurance wont go up. When I sell I'll want a CTR to replace it...

Saying that tho, I haven't driven it modified

Keep keep keep

Im 25 in june and still have my B iv had it 4.5 years and it was my 1st car,iv tried to part with mine a few times but just cannot i dunno why really its still lots of fun to drive.

I dont use mine everyday now thats why i got the astra for comfort for everyday driving and kept the corsa for something to tinker with and have a bit fun in at the weekends.

Tbh, it's pretty mint. No rust, no dents, no marks. It does need a let but funds won't allow.

Make it into a little project. Strip the suspensions etc and refurb it all, underseal it etc.

I owned a Corsa until I was 31.

I personally couldn't give a toss what people thought about my car ownership.

Looks like I'm keeping it then. Yeh, I had planned on undersealing it in the near future. I wanted to get those coilover sock things too, just to keep them mint.

Thanks for your advice/opinions guys
