in this case its a corsa b black 1.6 16v sport

Got loads i want to do with it..

inlet manifold exhaust manifold (has exhaust system on it atm from manifold back)
Has tigra alloys sprayed white could be better though. new alloys at some point (would love speedline allesio 2's in white but thats a dream atm)
Have bought 60mm springs for it but am relucting to fit as have been told that when the gsi kit is fitted it will scrape?

was wandering whether to put money in to the looks or speed first?
looks would be lowering kit and then pay to get my gsi kit fixed up and sprayed. possible tints but this would be future.

speed would be inlet and exhaust manifold and probably leave it there. It does have de-restricted airbox. Exhaust system consists of janspeed sports cat. sportex tube to a sebring 6x4 backbox.

a bit of both to be honest..

I like driving so most importantly would be how the car drives over how it looks. If i didnt enjoy driving it then it wouldnt matter what it looked like tbh..

Iv got exactley the same car mate

Do what i did and go for handling first mate. Its not the quickest car in the world but i beat much more powerful cars simply because i dont have to brake for corners

Corsa 1.6 sport - 1
1.7 puma engined fiesta - 0

Keeping corsa's on the redline since 2008

For me its 50/50.

When i was younger i was perfectly happy with a car that just looked nice but as you grow up and drive faster cars, i found i wanted speed to back up the looks.

If it wasnt an everyday car id also quite happily drive a fast car that looked a bit rough. Although i couldnt have it looking a complete hack.

So you just carry the same speed around the corners as to what you are approaching them at??

Fuk me what have you done to your Corsa to be able to do that??

my old 1.4 sport was as fast as my 1.6 because that had a powerbox but then my old corsa handled better as it was pollybushed and lowered slightly

Looks / condition first, a bit of power is always nice though.

Handling, my 1.2 Corsa was brilliant fun, it didn't look the best, it was under- powered but the way it went round corners made it so much fun on back roads and on track.

Totally depends on the car, if its a purpose built for speed car function over form. If i had a car i wanted to do 1/4 miles in i wouldnt really care what it looked like. same though if i had a car that was just for getting from a to b id want it too look decent.

looks for me im id rather cherish my car and look after it than dog it around maintaining and running a powerful car is too expensive for em atm so the 1.6 is enough

For a daily I'd personally get it looking nice first and then add the power later.

I'd say a bit of both aswell.. but it all depends on what sort of car you have and if it's quick already... (for example if you have a 1ltr I'd recommend just concentrating on cosmetic mods as unless you swap the engine there won't be any speed )

If on a budget, then looks.
Otherwise, both.
