He went through a red light. He got caught. He got away with it.. so why not just leave it at that.. no need to upload the video.

I was expecting the criminal to provide evidence that he didn't go through a red light.

Police man should have done a "random drug search" and got his details from his wallet.

wow a lot of hate going down with the cyclist.
from my experiences with officers, the majority all had small man syndrome and thought they could get their way by being dominant and thinking that they are above the law and high & mighty.
i've met one or two that were decent and let me get on my way and shit.
I just thought how many people who have been givin stuff i.e fines, points etc when didnt have to.

The police officer could by rights have arrested the cyclist to ascertain his correct name & address yet the PC seemingly doubted himself when he should have known he had the power of arrest in this situation

Cyclist is a cock, blatantly "guilty". However, it was amusing to watch.
Reminds me of John.

Not a clue? Because he couldn't remember the exact words?

From what I know, the officer doesn't have to quote the law word for word, layman terms is perfectly acceptable; which is what he did. The officer also has the right to arrest said person if they refuse to give details. The cyclist is correct that he doesn't need to accept the paper work; however he'd then be put in front of a judge.
Summary; cyclist was being a bit of a prick for no real reason. Officer should have just arrested him.
