Gay or not?

Driving a car is WAY too expensive and have just done a quick quote on ped insurance and found it to be under £500. Which is ace in my eyes, considering how much it is for me to insure a car.

Also, I have a FULL UK license, what does this mean in terms of being able to ride the moped? I'm understanding that I must use "L" plates on the moped until I get a cbt certification to ride motorbikes. Is this correct?

Any genuine help appreciated

Correct. You need to do the CBT test before you can ride a pedda.

If you're over 17 its gay, unless you live in a City on your commute.

You're right regarding the licence.

Yeah...over 17 is gay unless its a retro Vespa/Piaggio/Lambretta and you wear a duffle coat and have a satchel.

You need CBT not a full bike licence.

It's just something I can use to get about, sick of taxis and walking to and from work. Would rather just get there faster and be able to set off when I want to rather when busses and other transports decide to turn up. assholes.

I'm sure you do if you passed your test after a certain date

If you have a car licence...

If you obtained your full car licence before 1 February 2001 you are automatically entitled to ride a moped without L-plates (D-plates in Wales).

If you obtained a full car licence after 1 February 2001 you must first complete a CBT course and obtain a DL 196 certificate to validate your entitlement.

i double checked this the other day cos i used to have a ped and cbt and wanted another 125, if you have a full licence then you can ride anything upto 49cc without a cbt but if you want to ride a 125cc then you'll need your cbt

Not really sure on how a CBT works. As it isn't a test, apparently.
