As much of a fan of diesels as I am, I can't see the point of putting the boring 90hp tdi engine in a 'rado. I could understand if it was the 1.9PD or even a 2.0

I think so.Its a true fact.

If it wasn't for the electric rear spoiler on the Corrado,VW would have 100% released the Rado with the 1.9d engine.

Nothing embarrasing about it,im sure 3CM will back me up.

The 1.9d test cars kept spinning off the road.The spoiler would pop up at 40mph,foot down and the sheer torque produced by the engine caused the rear spoiler to push down and lift the front up.

IIRC,Nigel Mansell test drove 1 and said it was 1 of the most terrifying cars hes ever driven.
