You could prob get one made to fit an 8v if they dont do them if you took one of your mates cars in and gave them yours for a week

8v dont have the same restriction as 16v's so even if you made it fit, Would prob make it worse.

If its a C14NZ ie single point injection, then not much point doing anything.

Sri 8v C14SE would be better to start with.

There isnt many 8v tuning options, nothing to get a big jump in power, Just keep it as it is for now and improve handling etc until you can afford to convert it or buy a more powerful car

Briliant on x14xe got inlet and a 4-1 manny decat with a new catback race pipe fule preshur reg bored out air box with k&n panal filter fuling like a gooden obv cold air feed and its realy not to bad pritty much no point getting redtop as there no faster so the new inlet it good 4 a 16v as 4 a 8v think the inlet is a lot betta my m8 haz same engine as urs camed remap induction kit and a remap and its good think thers a bhp increase but no idear how much for the money i wouldnt bother on the inlet on a 8v because as its been sed before the 8v inlet isnt verry restrictive. he was laughing because your talking bollocks, a redtop would mutilate a 1.4 with a powerbox and decat. Be lucky if your making 110-20bhp lmao

Also you type like a mong and that isnt appreciated on here, as many have found, including me when i joined

LOLS, Awesome.

I agree with john, a 1.4 wont be putting out 150bhp and a xe isnt heavy enough to offset the lack of power. You won't even be putting out over 100bhp.

Plus I'd love to see you remap a standard ecu, Also, any playing with fuel pressure would make the engine down on power unless its turbo/supercharged lol

Also, your typing etc as john said

Anybody who says a 1.4 is quicker than a xe in the same car, is mental

If it was the cam cover painted red that doesnt make it a "redtop"
