Me and a mate gave the cars a quick clean after work, and i went over them both with the buffer and 3M Ultrafina SE.
Thought we'd get some snaps, especially of his, seen as he's got his first race on Saturday.
GTi - 142Bhp, (120 @ wheels) 108 ft/lb torque
Rallye - 171Bhp, (138 @ wheels) 107 ft/lb torque

they are growing on me the 106's, like them both. Please tell me it was worth putting the citroen engine in?

Was alredy in when i got it, but look at power differences, deffinatly worth it, much better engine.
GTi has C2 engine, Full stainless manifold back with decat, Air filter, 106 GTi cams and valve springs.
Rallye has GTi engine, Full stainless manifold back with decat, throttle bodies, cat cam 708s, DTA remapped ECU

Cheers. Yeah the pugsports are ace. Mates is so more raspy though having the 2" exit. With the throttle bodies and cams it sounds awesome, pops, bangs, flames, its ace

I had a facelift and went back to a Series 1, the 2's are slightly heavier and more refined. I much preferred my Series 1's

I MUCH prefer the S1's to the s2's. Boxier the better
