Haven't updated my project thread for about a year, but here's some up to date pictures of the Rex now...

havent seen this since it was on the rx8 wheels

1000% improved now

Saw a white rx7 yesterday and they do look amazing

What colour is that on the wheels? Tempted to get a simular colour for my wheels when they go in to be done

I'm not actually sure

Originally I was going for Nissan K11 Smoke Grey, which is the closest off-the-shelf paint to the GTR wheel colour. But then my bodyshop guy showed me the paint he'd used on his Evo, sprayed the wheels and then decided to matt lacquer them. Turned out quite well I reckon!

ah right, they do look good though Like the bronze colour that you can get the rota torques and that in but a little different

Yeah I tried my mate's bronze TE37s and they didn't look right, this ties in more with the carbon colour.

It isn't the best, I agree. But that's how Mazda designed it, there's a big scoop for the intercooler just behind there. If you move it down to the lower bar, then it hits the floor, higher up blocks the radiator, and to either side blocks the oil coolers, so there's really no other place
