Just wondering if this is the best way to go, i imagine that the highstreet prices are on the high side.
Can you recommend any online stores that you have used?
Cheers..

As long as you know her size and everything I dont see the problem. Just be sure its a reputable company.

Yeah I did, saved hundreds. I ordered totally the wrong size originally, so ended up costing me another 20 quid to get it resized locally rather than send it back, so make sure you know the correct one first time round.

I would never buy engagement/weddings rings online. This is the sort of thing you need to look at and check in person, even if you are skint and buying a cheapie ring.

What would you need to check, Sam? Seems silly paying extra for the sake of seeing one in person. Half the time you can't even walk away with it that day and have to wait a few weeks anyway.
I already knew what I wanted, Princess cut solitaire on a white gold band, so it was just a matter of looking round for one I liked the look of, although the only difference really was the clasp design. Most good online jewellers will list the clarity, etc. too anyway.

Same as what Brett is saying, I knew what Rachel wanted so that's what I got her. Not anything to do with getting a cheapie ring.

The price difference between me getting a 0.5ct diamond set in 18K white gold online or in a shop was well worth my while buying online. Guy who resized it said it was a winner too, so all good.

The place I ordered mine offered a full refund if you weren't happy.
Oh, and also offered to resize the ring for free!
The diamond is fully certified and would have cost hundreds more in the shitty High Street stores.

A woman never reveals her age.
Go on http://www.samarajames.com/ and put in 0.5ct G diamond on an 18k white gold ring and you'll get an idea.

suck on her finger then keep the shape with your lips until you can get down the jewellers, then they can simply push that stick/rod thing into your mouth
