Do you set yourself a target each year? Just wondering because last year i set myself 2 goals.

1 was to get a car, because i hadnt been driving for a year due to no work.
2 was to get a job as i had been out of work for a year

Well i achieved both of them, got a new car in october, and due to getting a car i managed to get myself a job in december.

Only goal i had for this year was to move house, which i did about a month ago. Due to the last house being shit basically.

Just interested to see if other people set themselves goals every year or just do things as they happen.

Basically just to survive, i've achieved this so far.

Dont bother making any plans past that, dont see the point!!

Interesting to see how different people plan what they want to do. I've never really set myself targets untill last year, and was pretty pleased i achieved both.

I'd hate to think I become complacent with things so Im always striving to achieve big and better things.

I never want to regret things tbh. No one ever regrets trying to get that promotion, training for what they've always wanted to do or even move abroad.

Make plans & they will implode in your face, modern life is too erratic to live by plans or charts or fairytails.

Nah i dont do anything like that. Just at the beginning of the year, i think " i would like to do this, this year or achieve this, this year"
Nothing along the lines of week to week or month to month planning. Just something you would like to change in the year

Don't have yearly goals. I want a 6 figure salary by 30. I'd like to lose weight and meet a nice girl in the next year or 2.

but thats not in a set timeframe is it? it just something to work towards and put away some money here and there.

th 40k thing was just a competition with my best mate in work, missed it by just over 1k which was annoying but i'm not gonna kill myself over it
