As of monday i should be the owner of a 53 plate cooper s in grey, anyone on here got / had one?
im quite looking forward to it as will be a change from my derv golf. will get pics up when i take delivery.
got some plans for it already,
15% pulley
new plugs an new belt
grs intercooler
milltek
remap
that should keep me amused for a bit

I dont know what it is about this website but everyone seems to go through phases of owning the same cars

All your plans are same as mine, want to R53 JCW brakes and aero grilles, set of Eibachs and ditch the runflats.

Love mine, so agile but they really need the pulley to make them quick.

The pulley is first on my list lol. will get coileys when i get new wheels for it, need to look into which wheels first though. there will be alot of carbon also
which forums are good for info? cheers
also are the gen 2 s brakes the same as gen 1 jcw?

I've not long bought one my self, lovely little car's great fun to drive to, think we all have the same plan's for them to there ment to be a hoot to drive with them mod's. I've not long had my milltek fitted makes a great noise yet can be quite if you want it to be to. Although i might be swapping job's soon which is abit out the blue for me so might be up for sale if i get it

I looked at getting a cooper S last year, it's a shame the boots are so small which is no good for me , if I get a works van who knows haha

I wiped the floor with a cabrio the other day in the rain when the driver goaded me into driving enthusiastically off the lights, if I got one it'd have to be a JCW at the very least.
