it's open day at college today and i need to get back into education, get a trade and get work, I'm 22 and unemployed with pretty average GCSEs and shit experience in much worthwhile.

Dunno if I'd even get on a course 'cus I've been there 3 years previously (passed each year but never completed a full course to get a certificate)
Dunno what to do

Wanna do something that's obviously <16 hours so it'll be paid for me, so finance isn't an issue and want something with good money.

what do?
plumbing, electrics, builder, joiner, mechanics, engineering, welding, travel&tourism, computing...i literally have no clue what i'd like to do, HALP.

btw you have to reply and reply seriously because it's my birthday today

I literally have no clue what I want to do, what else do you suggest? I have nothing that I'd think "wow, I'd really enjoy that and love getting up in the morning having 5 consecutive wanks and then going into work happy, not happy because of the wanks, but happy because i love this job"...except maybe driving jobs :x

but what is there some good money in?

Apprenticeships is basically a full time job and your employer sends you to college to become qualified.
Shit wages to start with but can you complain.

Best trying your local council.

Dont see why you would do a trade at college without having the on the job experience to help along the way tbhbb

I'm starting apprenticeship in September, had my college interview and test yesterday. Got accepted, cannot wait to get started.

Spending time in the college is great.

You would still get the course fees covered if it's your first full L3 qual.

There might also be ALG available if you've already been there previously in lieu of job seekers if you cross the threshold.

Get an appointment with their finance people.

Regarding subject, best thing is to ask each faculty what they're doing about getting people jobs at the end of it. Typically the building trades have fairly good links with employers, the others less so but you need to go get some real data for that institution.
