We're fast approaching half way through 2011 and wondering what artists/producers you've discovered this year, even if the tunes themselves are old. My absolute diamond this year so far is Jack Sparrow, the following track is one of the finest tracks I've heard in a long time. The video is absolutely awesome as well but for some reason they've taken it down!

Second up is Silkie. Another guy that's mainly on a mellow tip but this is the latest track that's got me vibing to his productions...

Jamie XX is obviously doing big things right now, but this is a wicked tune sounding a bit different. He has a whole album in collaboration with Gil, I need it!

Nujabes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5-2-jD-42Q&feature=channel_video_title
Cage - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4z1B3-rrpQ
OFWGKTA - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSbZidsgMfw&feature=related
Its all Hip hop :/ Nujabes is a japanese guy that uses heavy jazz sampling and old school hip hop beats, OFWGKTA are a bit weird but i like it and Cage is what eminem actually copied his style from if you listen to the track its fairly obvious eminem copied him.
