Just been given a 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master 2' by my father in law

Thought the Tag Carrera i had my eye on was nice but FFS this thing is immense

It's apparently one of only a few that has a brown face and is 2 tone silver and gold so is mega rare. The valuation is being sent to me direct for insurance purposes but no real idea of the true value as it was bought in 2004. The jewellers were desperate to buy it as the owner wanted it for himself

I know the exact one you mean and it is lovely, iv got a rolex submariner myself so not too dissimilar, mine is only about a year old but my old one was worn everyday for about 4 years even being smashed about, yet when I upgraded it to the new model it still looked perfect, seriously worth the money because they literally last a lifetime.

Will get a piccy up over the weekend TBH I'm not that into the 'Style' of Rolex as said I had my eye on a Tag Carrera tachymeter which I'll probably still get but this should only increase in value etc

Trying to find one like mine on the net is like found a Rolex fake site in America selling it for $5500 it's got a brown face with gold and steel strap.

I would like a Seamaster as a daily and to keep my PO as a nice watch. Mate has a SM and I really like it!

Not a fan of watches but if I was ever in a position where I could buy 1 for loose change it would be a Rolex I think.

Like my old man said when he bought his, he doesn't like watches either but when you eventually have money a 'Rolex' is the buzz word for fancy watch.

I won one of these at work, it's coming next week, will probs go on eBay as I'm not really into watches. Currently have a d&g Prime time
