does price really matter with these or is the technology so simple a cheap one would be as effective as one twice the price

point in question

it wouldnt hold any pressure so couldnt get a reading. i would have got a replacement if i had a reciept

My draper 1 has been going strong for about 2 years.Even the packet it came in has aged well.

I once screwed it into my arse to see how much pressue i could fart.

how do you use these things? do they all have to be a certain value? or does it not matter what the numbers are as long as they are all similar to each other?

there will be a min/max value provided by the manufacturer i think. on autodata if yove got that

Should be between 180-200 psi iirc.

If theyr is a difference of say 10-15psi across any 1 cylinder,then you have a problem.

fucking piece of shit went and got one of those gunson ones from halfords and the gold connector is too wide to fit down my spark plug hole the thread is correct its just the rest of the metal moulding wont let it go far enough down

what a waste of time and money

Why are you using the gold connector you fool??Its a 14mm thread is it not??You shouldn't need that connector.

yes i know its 14mm the actual main gold shaft is to fat

How can it be too thick??Isn't the socket size a 16mm??

Can you take a pic of a spark plug beside the gold part that dosn't fit down??

I have the Gunson 1 here and its pretty slim.

I have the spark plug socket here in my hand aswell as the compression tester.The spark plug socket is alot thicker in diameter than the gold part of the compression tester.

I really can't see how it dosn't fit down.

im not using the extra socket, the spark plug thread in the head is recessed about half an inch and its that recessed part the thing wont fit down.

im not a twat, it doesnt fit
