Got my new Mondeo and want to give it a clay and polish/wax to make it shiney

Got me a clay bar and am going to halfords and was gonna get some Auto Glym super resin but they do ultra deep shine?

What colour is the mondeo? Ultra deep shine gives best results on darker colours so you would probably get better results from SRP if you have a lighter colour car

Ultra deep shine is shite tbh. If your going to be going halfords get megs 3 stage and I think there on offer as well.

Tried deep shine on my black sport.

Shit compared to super resin polish, couldnt believe the difference!

while the megs 3 stage stuff is good and smells nice, it's far too much effort compared to products from the autoglym range and not any better.

and yes halfords have a 3 for 2 on all car cleaning stuff.

Fail got the ultra deep shine so will take it back as read on the back when i got home about the best for dark colours....

Mine is dark silver/gray

UDS is essentially a glaze - it contains no form of abrasive, it relies on oils to make the paintwork shiny / glossy.

SRP contains abrasives as well as the above oils so actually has a small degree of cut to it.
