haven't done it but personally i'd get a new tyre and sell whats repaired if its worth it. could end up costing you alot more

With H&S laws I think the repair would have to be good for it to be allowed on the road.

alot of people i speak to say its fine if its inside the tread which mine is, and its on the front.
ive hammered the car on b roads and its never missed a beat, holds pressure perfectly..
im just in 2 minds.

hammering on a b road will be nothing to the hammer and pressure they will get on track, not to mention the heat generated

I wouldn't fancy it myself. The wear on my tyres show just how much they flex on track, I've got visable wear on the sidewall on a 45 profile so when it's running on the outside sidewall it's naturally gonna flex the tread as well as the inside wall which is were problems could show themselves especially when you also bring the higher tyre temperatures into the equation.

A mate of mine has got a puncture repaired tyre on his car and did a couple of trackdays and has done some high speeds quite regular 150mph+ and his car gets driven extremely hard and has been fine (not a light car either)

I have done 3 combe sessions, 4 ring laps, a 20 minute session on the gp track and 6000 miles on my nearside puncture repaired tyre; in the Astra.
Should be fine imo.

Countless burnouts and drags up the pod and 2 sessions round combe and b road blasts on my osf repaired tyre no dramas what so ever

I wouldn't personally. I bought 4 new tyres for ring, one got a puncture the 2nd day it was on, got it repaired but bought a new one and put it on to go ring. Didn't fancy risking it tbh, although I know puncture repairs are pretty good nowadays. I just put the puncture repaired one on again at a later date

I would if it's just a track day, who cares, even if it deflates it's unlikely you're gunna lose control and go head on into a wall, it's arguably more dangerous to use on the road than on track IMO

Also apart from the fact more then likely it will be ok, you have got the think about the mental inplications aswell, if you are constantly thinking about it when loading up the tyre its not going to be a good thing, peace of mind is a good thing on track!
