Will be replacing the Mazda next month, so need some suggestions, she wants something which looks half decent, isn't too old, and I don't want it to be totally gutless!

The budget is strict, not a penny more.

Not bothered how big or small, petrol or diesel, just as long as it meets the above criteria and isn't something stupid like the Jag XJR that I suggested!

Any ideas?

Whats your definition of too old then? More than 10 years old?

Can't you get a mk5 golf 1.9tdi for that money? Only 105 bhp STD but can soon do 160
