Looks a bit silly there tbh. If you had some of those carbon things that go on the side of the bumper and the bits that hold the diffuser from folding under the car then might look better...

its actaully not as low as you might think, it sits in line with the original carbon one i had one which was fine over all speed bumps.

Looks terrible, hope it performs well enough and you'll get enough use out of it to justify it.

its made from 9mm ply, its quite common material to use since its cheap. probbably cost £7 to make this spitter.

its purely a functional addition is this one, im going to try it out when i go to angelsey to see how much difference it makes, jimmy who has the vx race car in the time attack reported it worked really well.

not really a fan - just looks out of balance with the rest of the car.

Plus I'm unsure if it would be needed? the car felt perfectly balanced when you took me out in it at cadwell.

I like the look of it but in the birdseye view it really does look like ply

thought about wrapping it in vinyl or something to take away the wood affect?

I'd be tempted to have it wrapped to hide the fact that its wood.
It just looks cheap.

Kinda like something my mate would have made for his 205 when he was 17.

a lot of race cars use ply as its inexpensive to replace.

if it works i might look at creating a carbon version.

yea, it was but i thought for the sake of a £7 splitter and a free rear spoiler why not try it and see it it does make a difference.
