never understoof the whole SUN/NOTW connection thing.

they are the same company are they not? if so, i can imagine they will have to shut down the sun aswell?

They aren't ending out of decency though. It's because they can't continue to run after all the companies have ceased to be associated with them.

Tis kinda sad in way a way that a paper thats been running so long is going.

This sundays issue will most likely be the highest selling one to date i reckon. Ill go buy it to see what they put in it, see if they just take the piss etc

It's place will clearly be taken by The Sun, there is no way News International will just give that kind of circulation away.

I did think earlier this week that NOTW was fucked when it came out about families of murder victims having their phones hacked but thought it would be down to poor circulation/loss of advertising rather than this immediate closure. This is just a way for News to try and put the scandal to bed and keep the bad publicity away from it's other businesses.
