Considering making some DIY Depos for the gsi.

Has anyone done this and succeeded with standard Valeo headlights? last time I tried they were a right cunt to get apart.

Yes im being a tight cunt, but If i can save £50 from lights, that can go towards engine fund

I tried to split a valeo, i put it in the oven and it just melted the black plastic at the back of the light and couldnt get the lens off.

i had a lucas light and that split easy just using a hairdryer and removing the 3 clips

If it's tough then you're probably best using a heat gun so you can keep an eye on it?

Lucas lights, or just buy clear depos. Can pick up a single headlight on ebay for around a fiver. Both mine cost 99p + Postage.
